Travis Tritt started his career in music at age 6 when he received a guitar from his daddy. His real name is James Travis Tritt.
By the time he was 22, he had been married and divorced twice ... but had no children from those brief marriages.
Throughout his career, which began with the release of his first album in 1989 at the age of 26, he has charted more than 30 singles and has 5 - #1 hits. In 1992 he became a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Travis Tritt eventually did marry in 1997. He lives with his wife Theresa and their 3 kids in Hiram Georgia (pop) approx 1500 people.

Currently Tritt is engaged in a lawsuit for 10 Million with Category 5 ... who he claims failed to pay royalties on his 2007 album "The Storm".
Tritt's last #1 hit was "Best Of Intentions" ... back in 2000.
