Stephan Fain Earle was born in Monroe Virginia but grew up in Schertz Texas. He left school in the 9th grade and eventually
ended up in Houston trying to carve out a career in music. At age 31 in 1985, Earle recorded his first album entitled Guitar Town.
The Album went to the top of the country charts and the song Guitar Town, made it to #7.

face of country music. Earle started his career as a songwriter before he released his first album and wrote for Vince Gill,

But success can also bring its share of problems, and drugs and alcohol fueled Earls. He had been addicted to heroine at an early age. Finally
