Here is a brief biography on Jason Aldean.

He hails from Macon Georgia and while his parents divorced when he was three, his daddy taught him how to play the guitar at an early age. Both parents encouraged Jason musically while he was growing up. His real name BTW is Jason Aldine Williams.

He began his professional recording career in 2005 with the release of his first album. To date (Dec 09) he has 3 albums under his belt, which collectively have produced 3 - #1 hits and 5 additional top 10's. Not bad for a guy who hit quite a few roadblocks trying to get his start in Nashville, but hung in there until things started to happen for him.

The highlight so far in his career was working in the studio with Alabama's Randy Owen, whom Aldean was a big fan of while growing up ... who wasn't? Aldean also put out his first DVD in Aug 09 entitled "Wide Open Live and More" from a Mar 09 concert. Its available here.
