Dierks Bentley is from Phoenix, Arizona. He started his professional career after signing with Capitol Records in 2003.
Out of the 11 singels Dierks Bentley has released, six went to #1 and three others reached the top 5. The name Dierks,
came from his grandmothers maiden name.

Early in his career, Bentley got a job at TNN (now Spike TV) and was in charge of finding old footage of country stars
(wow, what a job that must have been).
He married his high school sweetheart, and at age 32, now lives with her in Nashville with his two dogs and
a newly born child (as of Oct 08).
So far he has put out albums in 2003, 2005, 2006 and a greatest hits album in 2008. His latest release was in Feb 09
with Feel That Fire. Dierks Bentley is also was the third younger member to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, behind Josh Turner
and Carrie Underwood (youngest).
