About Me - Kirby Swinemar
How I took a hobby ...
... and made an online business out of it!
My name is Kirby and I'm originally from the east coast of Canada from a small town in Nova Scotia of about 1100 people
called Western Shore. If you blink while passing thru, you may miss it. Currently I live in our nations capital, Ottawa ON.
It's a city of approx 850,000 (quite a jump from 1100), but a great place to live.
I play my guitar from home and work out of coffee shops for a living. How do I manage to do that?
(See below).
Lots of people out there dream of working from home ... to sleep in and have everyday become a Saturday ... to ditch the
long commutes, the PITA bosses and long hrs. But they feel trapped! There is a way out.
What I enjoy doing as a musician, since I was 7 years old, is of course playing the guitar. I love learning new songs
and teaching others. So that was my plan.
Being a member of the Air Force for 23+ years has of course built in security. And they pay us well for what we do. But
job satisfaction has to count for something. I wanted to fly in a plane ... not fly a desk.
I had volunteered to come to Ottawa to work as a Parametric Analyst (that's Electronic Warfare signal analysis stuff).
In the beginning it was interesting, but as time passed, it was
another cubicule job with no real satifaction in it.
I was just another govenment cow ... do this, do that, dont think or ask questions ... yuk!
So I began
planning my escape from the cubicle in Oct of 2005, and by Jun 2007, I was free! Glad that's all behind
me now.
Today I run my own business, teach at a local college and
teach online to help people create their own online businesses.
How about you? Ready for a change ... or to start planning in case your job gets cut? Heading for retirement or already
retired and bored? Are you already spending 4 yrs in a university program as a student? Then obviously you're not the
lazy type. Maybe this is for you?
A short 4 min 14 sec video intro on the product I use called SiteBuildIt.
If you have any questions about the program,
ctc me
and I'd be glad to help answer any concerns you may have.
